Antistatic fabric, also known as conductive fabric or ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) fabric, is a type of textile that is designed to dissipate or neutralize static electricity. Here's some information about antistatic fabric:
  • Anti-static cloth styles: 5mm strip, 5mm grid and 2.5mm grid. it is mainly used in the production of dust-proof clothing, anti-static clothing, anti-static mask, anti-static gloves, anti-static shoe and shoes cover. The fabric is 1.5m wide, surface resistance 10^6Ω-10^9Ω, available for class 10-100 cleanroom.
  • There are four types,
    1. anti static polyester fabric: 98% polyester and 2% conductive yarn.

Why we need the Anti static fabric ?

Features:

Conductive silk, also known as ESD fabric, is a special type of polyester filament fabric made with high-quality conductive yarns. It can be used for sewing functional garments, such as coveralls, suits, jackets, hats, boots, and more. The fabric offers good resistance to static, chemicals, and abrasion, and is designed for cleanrooms of Class 1000 and higher. Owing to its ability to conduct electricity, ESD fabric has broad applications in the industrial sectors of electronics, medical, biology, optics, and spaceflight. The fabric meets ESD standards, system resistance ranging from 10e6-10e8Ω.

Two main components make up the ESD fabric, namely the Conductive Fiber Fabric and the ESD Fabric. The Conductive Fiber Fabric is made from metal oxide or carbon black composite spinning, while the ESD fabric prevents the accumulation of static electricity in clothing. The ESD fabric has to be able to separate or intermix conductive fibers when spinning. To varying degrees, ESD fabric performance is measured by its capacity to restrain electric charge accumulation in temperatures of 20± 5 ℃ with a humidity of 30~40%, a fabric surface charge average of ≤ 7.0μc/m2 after being washed 100 times, and the average electric charge of clothing being <0.6μ c/pc. Moreover, Its washable grade ranges from A grade ≥33.0 h to B grade ≥16.5 h.
